In my own noise artist career, this album was a revelation. It showed me how far rules can be broken and how much ideas can be explored to the point of exhaustion. It’s a free album. In a way I hadn’t experienced. When I get stuck creatively, I often think “what would the Dead C do?” And come back here. The answer is usually “do whatever the fuck you want,” and it works.
